At Polka Theatre, Wimbledon, the outdoor spaces are as magical as the performances inside. To enrich the experience for their youngest visitors, Jonny designed and built a sensory garden centred around a striking woven “Nest”- a hideaway full of mirrors, peep-holes, magnifying lenses and colourful patterns designed to spark curiosity in little explorers. Busy boards dotted around the garden, along with curved benches that double as play pieces, invite children to touch, twist, peek and play. Every corner is alive with sensory surprises, turning the garden into a stage for imagination.
