This project provided a clever yet magical strategy to carve out more usable space in a small London home.  Both practical and playful, it succeeded in doubling the amount of available play space in a children's bedroom. It includes a raised play platform on a real silver birch trunk with a cedar shingle-clad cubby hole and birch plywood storage units.
